Biogas from Waste represents the foundational concept and capability behind Biofor Energy Infra’s operations — converting agricultural residue, food waste, and other organic materials into clean, renewable biogas through anaerobic digestion. This service ties together the full waste-to-energy process offered across the plant.
How It Works
Organic waste collected from agricultural, industrial, or municipal sources is fed into the anaerobic digestion system (CSTR Digester), where microorganisms break it down in an oxygen-free environment, releasing biogas rich in methane. This raw biogas is then treated and purified (H2S removal, water scrubbing, PSA/membrane separation) before being compressed into usable Bio-CNG, while the leftover digestate is processed into organic fertilizer — creating a fully circular waste-to-energy cycle.
